- 《水浒传》是中国古典四大名著之一，是元末明初施耐庵编著的章回体长篇小说。问世后，在社会上产生了巨大的影响，成了后世中国小说创作的典范。同时也是中国历史上最早用白话文写成的章回小说之一，流传极广，脍炙人口；同时也是汉语言文学中具备史诗特征的作品之一，对中国乃至东亚的叙事文学都有极其深远的影响。
这是《水浒传》系列字体设计的第二期，至此天罡星三十六员全部设计完毕，在当中并不只是单纯追求的字体字形的设计，而是将各个好汉的性格特征，绰号来源的创意点融入其中。比如 黑旋风-李逵，影视剧中李逵张牙舞爪，粗糙黑面的感觉与字体进行创意结合；浪子-燕青，这是个外形俊俏，吹弹唱舞，姿质风流的英雄人物，想将这种“浪”的感觉表现出来，用了飘逸飞舞的字形。地煞星七十二员往后陆续分享出来。
